GENERAL FUNCTION:
This program manager position directs the supervision and provision of services in the adult department at our Grays Harbor office. Services may include home and community based management services, groups, and individual and family therapy where appropriate. They are responsible for implementing program services in accordance with the standards of care for BHR and must provide leadership to unit staff to collaborate and coordinate with essential community organizations and ensure positive working relationships for the benefit of our community.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other behavioral science
Minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated supervisory experience
Eligible for MHP and CMHS status
Licensed with WA Department of Health
Current WA state driver's license
Community mental health experience with emphasis on chronic mental health issues
Working knowledge of technology
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Broad familiarity with adult welfare laws and regulations
Strong community organizational skills across diverse service systems
Familiar with multi-system approaches to treatment
Strong clinical conceptual skills to assess and coordinate necessary services to our adult's program
Must pass a criminal background and Inspector General check
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide clinical leadership and monitoring of all Grays Harbor program services and staff
Establish and conduct staff/unit meetings
Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff
Assist and oversee all case and discharge planning
Assure that services are available and relevant for all clients
Ensure that services to culturally diverse clients are appropriate and the provisions of services are provided in a culturally competent manner
Ensure that minority consultation are completed in a timely manner and that consultant recommendations are reflected in the services delivered as appropriate
Follow in accordance with utilization management standards for BHR
Screen referrals and assign to clinical staff
Screen and review all requests for individual and family therapy, and for additional in-home training and support to consumers
Oversee utilization of clinical services and participates in Utilization Review as needed
Ensure that documentation in client files follows WAC requirements and/or contract specifications
Ensure that clinical staff receives required clinical supervision, psychiatric consultation, and training
Schedule staff time to ensure full program coverage during all working hours
Resolve staff conflicts
Develop and monitor budget, policies, and procedures while maintaining quality and productivity
