At BHR, our clients use their resilience to focus on their strengths and their ability to live a recovering lifestyle. We are always inspired and taught by their courage and their grace. Through their example, we know that hard work can result in a healthier and happier life in the community. We feel privileged to help our clients reach their optimum mental health and recovery from chemical dependency. As the South Puget Sound’s largest and oldest provider of mental health and substance use disorder services, we are committed to providing the highest quality of care possible.
A message from the CEO:
I am truly humbled to have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of so many who struggle with addiction and mental illness every day.Our accomplished and committed team members achieve this mission together by bringing skills, knowledge, experience, and compassion to BHR. This team is the life energy of the organization, and we can’t positively impact our community and serve our clients without them. Every person in the organization is an essential piece of continuous improvement of quality outcomes and efficient, effective systems. My purpose as CEO is to inspire a synergistic focus on the vision of recovery through innovative and evidenced-based treatment so that as a team we can assist those on the road to recovery. I was excited to move to Washington to accept the offer from BHR because it is an organization that touches my heart by strengthening and improving many lives in our community. I look forward to learning something new daily from the many great people that make up this agency. I am hopeful you will join us in making it even better.
