This New Journeys - First Episode Psychosis - Internship is for current Master level students in their MSW, MA, or MFT programs. Interns in our New Journeys Program in Olympia will work on a small coordinated specialty care team, receive extensive training in addressing psychosis through a partnership with the University of Washington, and gain direct experience working with teens and young adults with symptoms of psychosis. Interns will meet with clients in-person or via telehealth for outpatient mental health appointments. Interns will gain experience using EBPs, staffing cases, and navigating electronic health records. Interns receive weekly supervision from LMHCs, LMFTs, and LICSWs. This is an unpaid internship. Behavioral Health Resources will pay for any required credentialing expenditures. BHR is a WDI-approved community behavioral health agency.
