This member of the Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) multidisciplinary team has the responsibility to carry out rehabilitation and support functions and assist in treatment with specific focus on identifying and supporting issues of recovery and ADLs. In addition, they will provide case management services to individuals with severe and persistent mental health disorders who are most at risk of hospitalization, incarceration, and/or homelessness due to their mental health symptoms. This includes assisting clients in maintaining stable housing, increasing independence, monitoring and assisting in medication compliance, assisting with coordinating medical care, and assisting with coordination between other service providers. This Adult Therapist Internship is for current Master level students in their MSW, MA, or MFT programs. Interns in our Adult Outpatient Services Programs in Elma will gain experience working with a diverse adult population. Students will meet with clients in person or via telehealth for outpatient mental health appointments. Interns will gain experience using EBPs, staffing cases, and navigating electronic health records. Interns receive weekly supervision from LMHCs, and LICSWs. This is an unpaid internship. Behavioral Health Resources will pay for any required credentialing expenditures. BHR is a WDI-approved community behavioral health agency.


Adult Therapist Internship

This Adult Therapist Internship is for current Master level students in their MSW, MA, or MFT programs. The Harvest Home is an inpatient program that supports pregnant and parenting women struggling with mental illness and substance use disorders as they focus on recovery. This is an unpaid internship. Behavioral Health Resources will pay for any required credentialing expenditures. BHR is a WDI-approved community behavioral health agency.


This Master level student internship is in our Harvest Program in Tumwater. The Harvest Program serves pregnant and parenting women who are seeking abstinence from drugs or alcohol.
