Maintenance Technician

Are you a maintenance professional looking for a position where you can employ a wide variety of skills? This position requires an engaged and focused individual with skills in routine facilities maintenance in an office setting as well as apartment buildings and grounds and maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess basic computer skills, have experience working with mental health population, have a keen ability to problem solve with consumers around office and home/apartment needs, have good record keeping and communication skills, and be able to effectively organize and schedule work assignments.

  • Experience in home and office maintenance/repair skills including but not limited to be able to operate lawn mower, leaf blower, weed eater and trimming tools, change HVAC filters and basic computer skills. Knowledge of using power tools including but not limited to: skilsaw, drills, tablesaw, chainsaw, pressure washer and air nailers.
  • Able to climb ladders including extension ladders and crawl in confined areas.
  • Good record keeping and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to and over 25 pounds.
  • Must have valid Washington State driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance.
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination required prior to start date in accordance with Governor Inslee's requirement for private health care workers.
